Aston-cum-Aughton Parish Hall

The Parish Hall was opened in 1972, it is registered with the Charity Commissioners (No 598491) and administered by trustees who form the Management Committee. Trustees comprise of representatives from the Parish Council, regular user groups and the community.

The object of the Charity is to maintain the Parish Hall for the benefit and use of the inhabitants of Aston-cum-Aughton and the neighbourhood for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation.

Day to Day Management

The Management Committee employs two part-time Caretaking staff. The day to day management and administration requirements are provided by Parish Council officers of Clerk to the Council (Parish Hall Manager) and Clerical Assistant (Secretary). General maintenance of the premise is carried out by Parish Council Attendants.

Facilities 

The Parish Hall facilities include: Two kitchens (one with a tea bar); licensed bar (in lounge area); equipment for hire/use (piano, pa system) and conference aids (OHP/Screen, flip chart, TV/video).

Hall 1

Seating of up to 160 persons. Ideal for weddings, large partied, concerts etc. Perimeter carpet, central dance floor, upholstered furniture and large stage with changing areas either side.

Hall 2

Seating for up to 50 persons. Various table configurations are possible. Projector screen available.

Seating for up to 30 persons. Suitable for small group activities.

Meeting Room

Large conference table to seat 20 persons plus another 15 persons in the public area. A projector screen is available.
